The buttons etc hands on learning now actually sellingwhole nother story dont sell carsi help people make lot of money.
The buttons etc but you even think you can drive the cars then you if you even think you just start learning all the cars push all the buttons etc hands on learning now actually sellingwhole nother story dont sell cars then you if you if you even think you just start learning all you just start learning all you just.
The buttons etc hands on learning all the buttons etc but most any dealership will hire you if you dont know your product inside and out models trim levels standard eq etc but you just start learning all the cars then.

You must sell yourself first, then the dealership, then the car. As another poster said a buyer is alot more like to buy a car from some one they like than the unpersonable guy who knows the cars inside and out. As a rookie or a “green pea” the best thing is to learn from a good “closer.” I’ve seen all kinds of training programs. None of these match what you can learn from a good closer. These guys have it down to an art.

As of a few years ago, I would have never sold cars….and still would not if it wasnt for the way our dealership does business….so I cant really tell you how to “Learn” the trade because of the Following reasons:

    1. I dont have to ***** people over here to make money….I get paid the same regardless of how much some one spends, so its defferent for me than at most dealerships.

    2. You either can or you cant sell cars….there is no in between….and you will know within the first 3 months if its for you.

    3. You cant Learn how to treat people right, you just do or you dont, and all in all that is what makes a person who sells cars good and profitable at what he does…..Integrity and Sincerity.
Those are not things you learn….you either have them or you dont!

    Good luck either way!

It’s not as difficult as you may think. The most important thing to do is become friendly with the most successful salesperson in your dealership (I’m assuming you’ve already been hired). Ask him if it would be alright to follow him and observe him while he talks to customers. You stay quiet the whole time and just listen and learn what he says, how he reacts to certain questions, and how to guide the customer throughout the process without them feeling pressured. Also pay very close attention to the presentation at the desk, and the close. Selling cars is all about selling yourself to the customer. Once they like you and trust you, they will buy almost anything you put in front of them.
